Moriah Maney is an accomplished developer currently working at Major League Baseball on the Web Platform Architecture team as a Senior Software Engineer. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In her spare time, she is also developing a health tracking application specifically geared towards people with chronic illnesses, called healthsome. The inspiration for the application comes from her own struggle with managing her PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), and conversations with friends in the disabled/chronic illness community about what they need but aren't getting in health tracking applications. Outside of work, she enjoys building and teaching others how to build gaming PCs, playing video games, volunteering in her local community, nail art, photography, advocating for women in tech, and traveling.
